Golf Course Usage Fee Due in March

Due to various improvements and rising expenses, the Board has approved the Golf Course Usage Fee for 2026 to $400 (tax included). This fee applies to ALL GOLFERS unless a cart is rented or a $10 rider fee is paid.

For members on automatic draft, the fee will be included in the March draft unless otherwise notified. Stickers for paid fees will be available in the Golf Shop next month. For questions, contact the Office at rhcc85@comcast.net.

Registration for 2026 USGA Handicap

Stop by the Golf Shop to turn on your 2026 USGA Handicap.  
Our Golf Shop attendants will be able to assist you in your registration.  
The annual cost for 2026 is $36 and will last through the golf season.

Bunker Renovation Continuing through January

All work is currently done on the front nine with crews moving to the back nine in the coming weeks. The RHCC Golf Course Committee will keep the membership aware of the progress.

Our task is to address the years of wear, tear, and failed infrastructure while ensuring the new bunkers fully adhere to the Maxwellian aesthetic. Our key design objectives are:

  1. Antique Appearance: The bunkers must look and feel as though they were crafted a century ago with rudimentary tools (horses and scrapers), not modern machinery.
  2. Natural Edges: We are focused on irregular, flowing, and rugged edges that blend seamlessly with the surrounding turf, avoiding the crisp, manicured look common to contemporary architecture.
  3. Restoration of Intent: Our goal is to provide a product that honors the specific, unique aesthetic curated by Perry Maxwell, enhancing the property’s heritage and ensuring the infrastructure is built to last for the next century.

In selecting this aesthetic, we are not simply choosing a style; we are upholding a legacy that was recognized globally by the masters of the craft.
